Head Unit Losing Power

Hi, I was looking for some help. iv got a 2000 astra coupe and i recently got a panasonic radio and it works fine except when i take my key out of the ignition it loses power and forgets all the settings like radio stations and bass ect.

any help is appreciated.

i had problems with my kenwood head unit and had to just swap the live leads over on my head unit could be the same dunno..

yes i agree swapping the red and the yellow wires over seems to work

you need a permanant live mate, but to be honest, the coupe plugs should plug straight in to the new HU???!!??

they do have the same ISO plugs but as already posted the red and yellow wires need to be swoped arround instead of red to red and yellow to yellow. it need to be red to yellow and yellow to red.

depends on your ISO plug on stereo

Red & Yellow wires as already stated above need swapping. Very common, not an issue.
