Itunes?

I'm having a bit of a problem with itunes. For the past year or so I have been downloading my songs on my old mans Pc in itunes for the mrs ipod, and I now want to use my laptop but all the tracks are on the pc and when i try to sync the Ipod it says that it will replace all the tracks on the ipod for the ones in the library on the laptop (none on the laptop at the mo). Is there a way I can copy the libary from my old mans pc and put it on the laptop?? I have copied the tracks and itunes onto a dvd but can't get it on the laptop??

Sorry mate i dont really use itunes only used it once but i can try and help until some one know more about it can.

So you have copied the itunes folder normaly located, my documents \ my music \ itunes ? Onto a DVD.

Surly you can then copy them from the DVD onto another folder on the laptop.

There is a setting which you need to change so that ITunes doesn't automatically sync your IPOD with your ITunes library. I can't remember where it is at the minute, I'll have a look when I get home this evening.
