Are the caliper carries the same as the astra/vectra on the 288's?? Just wondered if the 2 pots would fit on a standard astra/vectra or even on the 308's with the 308 caliper carriers if that makes sence dunno..

vx220 ap calipers are quite different to a vectra set up, they won't fit becasue they would hit the rims.

If they fitted they would go on my vectra :lol:

I have driven it twice, once for the TV photoshoot and the other to the MOT, so 50 miles or so :oops:

I already had the calipers, so just required the 308mm discs and mounting brackets 🙂

you can buy 330mm discs and calipers dunno..

i need new brakes soon, i would like bigger than the 288mm i got, but the calipers are soo dear.

Just go for the 308 setup, that way you keep your existing calipers. Now with people going for the VXR setup the GSi 308 setup has really come down in price.

I paid £95 for a pair of vauxhall 308mm discs 🙂

LMF sell the kit for the astra = £215

You sure you havent got a set of spare caliper brackets or calipers lying around bigger than 288mm...lol
