I'v got a nokia N73 and have a bad echo, fine my end but echo's on the other end, people i talk to hear themselves talking with a delay is there anything i can do to stop it or is there a fault with me Phone?? anyone else had this problem with there phone and can you cure it??

Yep, I get this problem, but only when I phone you. The cure..... I call someone else, and it`s fine...sorted.

Your not giving oral sex when your on the phone are you........?????

Have you done a firmware update Neil? Nokias are renowned for buggy software, and a firmware update usually sorts this out.

Funny, my mrs had an N73 and exactly the same issue. Took it in for repair and they updated the firmware. No change

Tried updating the firmware and was surprised to find a newer version out, which was strange as it had just been into the repair shop. Still No Change.

Nice phone but this fault makes it rubbish, didn't realise it affected others .....

I've just given her my old N95 as I got an N95-8gb, then 8Gb is awesome as it doesn't drain the battery so much when you use some of it's features. Mind you the battery is thicker.

The Light Sabre is class! Worth a download.

Anyone wanting anything for this phone PM me as I have all sorts.

In actual fact if you have the most recent version of the Nokia PC Suite there is an icon on the bottom right for updating phone software. But I'm afraid don't expect to have much joy by updating it, not if mine is anything to go by.

OH MOST IMPORTANT, Backup your phone using the Backup Icon at the top left before you do anything, it does warn you, but if you just proceed you WILL lose everything!

They recommend having it plugged into the mains before doing a firmware upgrade. And also, as said, BACK UP THE PHONE FIRST, because if it fucks up, you will loose everything.
