INSP light turn off??

Does anyone know the proceedure for turning out the INSP light on the trip meter. A friend of mine has had a service done on the car 6 months ago and now the service inspection light comes on when he turns the ignotion on.

Is it somehting simple like holding down the trip reset button whilst turning on the ignition or is it a visit to Tech 2?

It's the way you said. Just hold down the button, turn on the ignition and it will clear 🙂

you dont need tech 2 at all m8, i no you do it by holding down somthing and pressing something but i have not got autodata installed on me comp atm m8 sorry

but it tells you in autodata if you got that

Press and hold trip button
Turn ignition on and wait til display either counts down from 10 or dislays ---
Realese button and turn ignition off.

when this happened to mine i just drove to my dealer and told them they had forgotten to change the insp and they set it to the correct mileage free of charge :lol: showo..

You could have asked the same question as I did and you could have done it yourself and saved the on the petrol.
