Anyone got the N95 8gb black?

contract is up next month, thinking of getting this phone, any good???...been reading loads of reviews, some good, some bad, just want your opinions.

That's what I've heard also, but the same was said for the standard N95. It's due to all the extra stuff on there which can be used. If you don't use every app, and contasntly use it, then battery life will obviously be improved.

As an example, my brother in law used the Sat Nav to get from my house to Sheffield town centre. 6 miles and 10 minutes. Killed the battery in the space of the jorney

Yeah, think the firmware update did something to help this though. I had the same issue on my N80, where the battery would last just over a day not doing anything. I updated the firmware, and also switched off auto 3G, as if it can't get a 3G signal, it will constantly try, even if one isn't needed, so it was hammering the battery.
