Vx salvage prices?

My car

Needs a new front clam, drivers headlight, and a small repair to the rear clam. No damage apart from the clams as the accident happen when parked. Cat C due to Vauxhalls outrageous clam prices

Some fancy bits
exhaust
2.4 inlet 172bhp
elise hubs/wheel
exige shocks
all most new mintex pads and drilled discs
leather
black bits
very quick and well setup car

Anyone got a rough guess on how much its worth as salvage?

if the crashbox is undamaged you might get as much as £6000 as it stands

or £5000 with a damaged crashbox - as they cost £700+ :shock:

you won't get much more with the extras fitted, it's better to refit standard stuff and flog the goodies dunno..

Absolutely no damage at all under the front clam, not even a small ding in the radiator never mind the crashbox :? To put it on the road all you would need is a headlight, front clam and windscreen

the cost of clams is a joke, £3500 for the rear and £2500 for the front, + painting, + fitting :shock:

headlight £650

windscreen £350

thats £7000 just for parts :?

Bloody hell, thats steep, i understand now, same tho, as lovely car without much wrong with it.

I considered it but I was planning to sell anyway so doesn't seem much point. It will be a very good car for whoever ends up with it, I spent a fair chunk of cash getting it set up and is the quickest vx Ive driven.
