rushy As above guys, Cars on a 2 years or 20k service cycle but going to give it some fresh oil in between services. The lump has only done about 12k (new engine fitted under warranty) so should I flush it or just change the oil? Cheers.
Matt They only recommend not flushing old engines, as the build up more often than not plugs any leaks which have developed. I flushed my old Fiesta, and after than, it was pissing oil from all over the place
baldie87 i change mine every 10k as i use quality oil but when i used cheaper oil it was 5k at the max

Huhness guys if you do an in between oil change say at 5,000Kms do you need to change the oil filter? or only every 10,000Kms?
sdbutler10 change the whole lot if u go to vx u can get the gm oil and filter for a tenner if you say you are in the trade. not that hard to blag.
