Jamee what I used to do was get a couple bits of wood and roll the car up onto them so I could fit the scissor jack under the car to get it up enough to get the trolley jack under just an idea mate but as said it worked for me and the H/Backl was like yours scraping the floor! lol Hope this helps some mate...
