Air con

Is there any air con experts on here? i have it at 2 garages so far (not main stealers) with no luck. It was working when i bought the car.

My air con don't work and was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I know what you are all thinking, it needs a re gas. Well it has been regassed twice and pressure tested and all is fine but it still don't work.

I also know the pump is ok cos at one of the garages he was fiddling with the air con relay by the battery and it came on but was on permenantly, changesd the relay and it was still the same.

Anyone got any suggestions? what.. with the summer just around the corner would be nice to get it working again without spending a fortune.

i have the same probs the whole unit has been replaced but still doesnt work i think ill get mine checked as the better weather is comming in i had to get a new comperssor bout 4 months ago it worked for about a week i think mines just needs recharged as it has to be on for a least 12hours for it to be fully charged notsure.gif

i'm too afraid to take it vx cos i reckon its gonna be mega bucks to get sorted.

You can get air con specialists who will come to you and some give free estimates

if it has been regassed and checked and the pump works, then it can only be the compressor not cooling the air.

yea there are loads of mobile units now a dys get one of them to come and give you a free quote 😃

My partner has the same prob in here tigra! Keep meaning to look at is the blower wont work half the time ether.

hmm think i'll have to have a flick through the yellow pages and see what i can find.
