Fiesta 1.25

Gf got fiesta 1.25 on a S plate due 4 cam belt, got timing kit tools 4 it all that but as any one done one? Only done a water pump on one and that’s not on cam belt, is the plug to lock bottom crank up at the back of the engine, I know I have 2 take air con pump off,

Make sure the crank is locked up corrcectly....as there is no key on the crank end of the belt..and timing it up if u get it wrong is a mare.....2.8hrs book time....

u done 1 daz? carnt seem 2 see the plug 2 lock crank? not like the focus tdi at front hiding?

I have.....from memory...at the rear of then engine near the crank pully....

Cheers so when it’s locked in it doesn’t turn clock wise, but it does ante clock wise?

yep put bolt bk in wid spacer and keep it up 2 the pin at all times!!

IIRC the bolt you remove to insert the locking tool is on the back on the engine near the Inner cv/drive shaft centre bearing?? and i had to move the PAS pump.
