Europa_Blue_SE1 My Mum took her Ford Focus 55 plate into Kwikfit yesterday for 4 new tyres so they got 3 done came to the last wheel and somehow they managed to snap one of the nuts on her front drivers side wheel and mainly that was the tyre she needed changed as she had a puncture on it beeing a woman she asked them what they were going to do and they said there's nothing we can do the nut is snapped so we can't change the tyre so she asked for the Manager and got him to write on a bit of paper that the nut was fine before she went in and that the nut had been snapped by them while trying to take the wheel off so he sighned it and told my Mum to come back in today :shock: but as the tyre had a slow puncture that has now turned into a total puncture she couldn't get the car down to them so she phoned out the RAC just there the guy said he couldn't do anything so she would need to arrange for the car to be towed to the dealer she bought the car from the car is a lease car so she doesn't know what is gonna happen it was to late for her to phone the company but she's gonna give them a call tomorrow and send them a fax with the note attached from Kwikfit so with what happened with vockys Vectra and now what they have just done to my Mothers car I can say for sure I won't be going to Kwik Fit any time for new tyres!!! cheers.. vocky just to add, I had the wheels rebalanced at another place, they first ran them on the machine with the original weights still attached..... first wheel out by 75 + 30 :evil: second wheel out by 35 + 15 :evil: 'fook it up' seems a better name dunno..
Europa_Blue_SE1 Yea think that suits them better vocky! One thing they did do right though as I said my Mums car's gonna be off the road for at least a week so they have payed for her to have a rental car and to my suprise and much to my joy my Mum got a Zafira GSi woohoo just back from a blast in it and wow they are fast then when you press that sports button weeeeee the suspension tightens up and it goes like a dream so I think I'll be trying to get the Old Dear to get one 😃 lol
