Group buy anyone ?

I send these out via USPS Express shipping. They dont tell me anything when it comes to any taxes.

From what I have been told some people get lucky, others get tagged.

I put these are "commercial sample" so I think that helps out a lot as well.

I'll see if I can find out more information for you guys and I will post it up.

Yep 🙁 Not sure what the import duty is on car parts, maybe 4.5%, then 17.5% VAT. The carrier will charge an admin fee for processing the paperwork, it was £8 the last time I had to pay. So it's not going to be far off £70. It's really out of Karo's hands at this point, he only completes the senders customs declaration.

...but, they don't always collect, sometimes you get lucky 🙂

I spoke with the post office today they said they dont even have control over it. The country it goes to, their customs pick how much you will owe. Sometimes people get lucky, other times they get tagged... luck of a draw I guess....

i am sure if you have a wide selection off goodies for our engines people will take the pic of what they want when funds are available. but maybe if you are wanting to do more group buys you could try a group buy every 2 months on an item of your choice or our choice dunno.. just an idea mate

I could possibly use my 75% discount using FedEx (where i work) for the order, would save us $$$, Im after some cams + gears myself so im sure with all of us this will be a huge order !!

I can send it Fedex if you would like using your account number. Only problem is this... I do not have a Fedex account number so I would need to get an account made with Fedex which would more or less give me no real discounts.

When your work gets the Fedex bill, if they refuse the charges they will bill my fedex account for all the charges.

If its for your own personal order I can do it but for others I dont think I can do it simply because Its too much for me to risk. Not saying your work would pull something like that but if it happens I could be out A LOT of money... If you know what I can.

I got 3 sets of cams in today. I talked to Comp, they said I will have 7 more sets come in within 10-14 days 🙂

I'll start shipping these out asap. I just need to go to the doctors today to get checked out, I've been sick for 2 weeks now and the damn thing wont go away. Soon as I get back I'll start shipping them out.

While your here, are these better than Piper then, r.e. lumpy idle, spec etc, or the same just cams but cheaper?

the spec looks very similar dunno..

lumpy tickover is probably the balancer shafts, my vx220 tickover is smooth :?
