Hi,
The plastic cover, over the cigarette lighter, and the cover the other side of the ashtray, pop off and there is a screw each side.
Take them out and then it will come out, though there is also a thin metal bar that goes across the width of that part of the console, above the cup holders, that may need persuading up a bit.
I found a standard kitchen knife did the job.
You will also need to lever the bar up a bit to get it all back in properly again.
