rushy My V5 says 197 so I think I get in lower bracket, but have you see the tax on a new VXR Vectra?................Over £900!!!!! But if your the second owner on the same car on the same day its half that price! Cant get my head round it, In affect there going to penalise you for buying a new car.

edbutler Any VX220 drivers feel a bit ripped off by the fact that the emissions are somehow 10+g/km (a tax band in some cases!) higher than a car that is 400-500+kg heavier with the same engine etc!? How does that work!? :shock: The aerodynamics arent that bad surely!???! :roll:
slindborg as Winstar said on .org its mainly due to the vx revving higer for a given road speed making the co2 (piss poor way to gauge pollution) higher. I feel happy as larry with mine, but its a rare case for the VX to not be a pain lol
