Road tax for 2.2's

Can anyone tell me if my 2002 vectra is going to be a £300 a year tax catagorgy vehicle?

currently its £205 as im sure you know but another forum said his gsi turbo was going to be £300 tax next year :shock: robbin fuckers :evil:

but i dont get it becuase in 2010 its ment to be £550 then go down to £310 the next year. the tables confused me can any one elaborate notsure.gif

all z22se (201-225 co2 range) engined cars registered after 1st march 2001 will be paying £300 a year road tax :evil:

the £550 is for new registered vehicles, the z22se car tax rises to £310 from 2010 :evil:

Just want to jump in and vent my disgust at these prices, under the front of making the country 'greener'.

mine is
MPG 34
Insurance Group 13
Euro Emissions Standard IV
CO2 Emissions 194 g/km
Road Tax Band F

So in 2009 / 2010 - is £260
2010 / 2011 - is £270

Still robbing buggers!

Yep. Astra 2.2 SRi 3dr with AC Year 2003.

I need to confirm on the V5 doc though as the above figures are from Parkers website.

Mines 30st Dec 2001, Im gonna get 6 months in june then after that in january tax it under the old rules for £205.
I just cant get the yanks how they can go about in their V10 and V8 cars all day long and they run them about like Honda Civic Hybrids.
