thanks for the reply mate.
its just i have been reading around and itg says there itg maxogen gives the z22se 12bhp now correct me if i'm wrong but i think this is good on a standard engine.

" This kit produced the maximum increase in bhp on any kit we have produced over standard and completely transforms the vehicle. Huge increases in torque and power with 5 bhp at 3,000 rpm to 12 bhp at 3,500 with further increases all the way up to peak power at 5,500 where we saw a 12 bhp increase again. This kit makes the VX220 go as good as it looks. Fitted with our patented inline RAB65 air box large black silicon hose and copper nickel plated mounting bracket and air filter spinning "
now with this, they only make them for the vx220 2.2 and this woant fit astra/vectra.
so the idea that i had was if i got a itg panel filter as you have confirmed the maxogen is foam i presume the panel filter will be made with the same stuff i know the panel is foam aswel, so if i got one and then a wider inlet to connect it to the t/b and modded the air box to allow more air in then this should act similar to the maxogen and give the same bhp dunno..
would i be correct in thinking this?
if you modded the air box to allow more flow and put in any panel filter would it give same increase?
what could be expected bhp wise from a panel?
becuase i have been reading a previous total vaux mag from the other month and they had a 1.6 on the rollers and all the panel filters gave an increase of about 10bhp
