mousetra08 hi there i am looking at the posts on chain faults getting worried about it snapping its a 2002 astra convertible, ive been advised to find my engine number on my log book to see if its above 11065400 im looking at engine number it says 67325rxe i dont understand mine seems miles ahead
Spooks Take it its a 2.2?? There is another way to find out what your engine number is, there is a plate on the car, generally under the bonnet on in the door frame. Have you got a little credit card size card in your mnaual/folder, should also be on that!
mousetra08 no havnt got the car pass and as its a convertible bertone they dont have vin plates just bertone delivery numbers
benny get it checked as the astra cabs were not made by vx so the car maybe slightly older than the reg date meaning it may very weel be at the start of the engine production run so may well be involved ..please tell us what you find many thank benny
