my cruise control does not work anymore :s

no error codes though so i have no clue what it could be !

any suggestions?

clutch switch would be first thing to check, just link out the wires and see if the system works again.

do not leave the link in place for longer than the testing takes, as the engine revs will not dip when the clutch is pressed :roll:

could possibly be the brake light switch, but safest to buy a new switch for testing

other than that there is only the stalk to replace

tbh i dont see why there should be something wrong with the stalk cuz the other functions work

now where can i find the clutch switch and brake light switch? and how do they look? :oops:

I'm sure if the brake light switch wasn't working neither would the brake lights?? As vocky says try shorting the clutch switch and road testing?

Check ure n/s abs ring....mine cracked ...no abs light but the cruise wudnt work,,,,

no abs light cuz abs still works? mine does tested it today in the rain

edit looked it up and i'll try to check tommorow but will be hard with a lowered + bodykitted car and no garage hole

Daz means your Nearside (Side nearest the kurb, right hand side in the UK) ABS (Anti lock Braking) ring. But if you say the light is not on doubt that would be a problem.

cant see it as i thought lol i took out my digi cam and tried to take pics of it but they kinda failed

they are blurred ! 😃

what i can see is that its kinda corroded so daz could be right !

on the left hand side its barely visible, almost like its not there :shock:

oh yeah can some1 plz gime some pics of my clutch and brake switch? so i'll know what to look for

hope i can reach them with just the hood open :roll:

Look above your pedals and you will see 2 plunger type micro switches, you might have to remove a small bit of footwell trim, once you`ve got your head down there it will be easy to take it from there.
