For the people who had low RR results...

Over on AOC the turbo boys said that when they have any RR's, they turn off the traction control and pull out the fuse also (no23) as the traction gives low readings, one guy only showed about 165bhp from his GSi, he turned the traction off, but he didnt pull the fuse out, and the traction stills kicked in, thus giving him poor results..

Can this also mess with the 2.2 engine you think?????

On my Rolling Road day out I had to remove my traction control fuse to get the best results. It does work better with it off

Daz - this may be an issue with yours mate, it would be interesting to see what you make with it off and fuse out.

My 1st ever rolling road i had done i didnt have switchable tc fitted and i ran 157,with the fuse pulled...the 2nd at chipped uk i ran 155.6 and i dont think he pulled the fuse...at interpro i ran 155 with the tc switched off...(switch fitted)

You have to pull the fuse as well, but it doesnt seem to have made a differance to yours tho, just thought of you when i was reading it on aoc.

I think Courtenay pulled the fuses when they put them on the rollers, as they tried doing it to mine even through it didn't have it fitted

Even if you have switchable traction we were still asked to remove the fuse as it still had some sort of effect on the results

Was wathching them all the time with my car and they didnt pull out no fuse on my car,
I thought that it turned off the traction control completely when you switched it off.
And besides miine made 3 hp up for a comletely standard car.

Sorry mate we will have to agree to disagree I was watching them the whole time with my car and I have eyes like a hawk with things like that.
I have swichable TC anyhow.
Besides No 23 fuse is a blank in my car.

The fuse #'s are different between the Astra and Vectra.

Si have to agree mate they were pulling the fuses out looking at this post I have just found out why! I noticed it on the Astras and was wandering why the guy was putting the box back on he done it on mine yours well every Astra I saw going on the Rollers don't know where the fuse box on Veccys are but I don't see them doing it only on the Astras...

One thing I will say about my print out (Which i only just read properly) is that although I only got 149bhp i did get 160lb/ft of torque which was quite surprising 🙂
