Removing the Cam Carrier

i have some heat resistant paint in black that im painting the calipers with and the cam carrier on mine is awful and thought it would look nice in black.

so the question is..

is it easy enough to remove the cam carrier for painting?

will oil piss out all over or will i get away with it?

the cam cover just unbolts, you should be able to reuse the gasket too 🙂

you will probably get a little oil spillage, but only what drips off the cam cover whilst lifting it away from the engine.
