Water marks

How do you wash your car and get rid of water marks as it's drying dunno.. . The last two times I washed my black Astra I have had to polish it, to get rid of the water marks :roll:

Best bet Mark is go get some Megs Quick detailer spray this on the damp surface then dry off and you should not get any dried water marks. Can get a bit expensive buying it in little bottles from halfrauds so i get a 5litres or so and you can dilute it.

Small bottles are around £6.99 large drum is about £18.

The other option is to get a water filter or actually pour still water like you get in water machines over the car. I have never gone down this route. But is meant to work really well.

Cool, it's a pain seeing water marks on the car just after you have cleaned it. Cheers

i leather mine down after ive rinsed it, never had a problem. but my friend uses megs quick detailer on his lexus and he recommends it.

I use quick detailer when drying my car as well. While wet, spray the panel, and dry with a WW towel, repeat for whole car. Since doing this, I've not had water marks when dry.

Yeah a good towel or microfibre towel will be even better.

I used to find dishwasher rinse aid in the rinsing water works well for those of us who can't be bothered drying the car after. A small drop in the water if you are wiping down the car also helps.

Obviously try a small area first!
