Hey All,
Some of you may know of the recent problems with my engine. The hopefully final part of the Saga was a 'faulty' balancer shaft chain. Basically the part was changed as it was supposedly broken. Now just a few miles after driving, the new one is completely loose!!
The new garage (friends of mine) basically said that you cannot tighten it (using the pin method as illustrated in the VX220 TIS PDF's and Autodata) and it almost looks as though there should be a gasket between it and the block. The thing is loose to the touch and it grinds as you move the piston.
Please PLEASE could someone post a few words on how to fit this little bugger, its driving me mad!!
