What do you think about this set up?

Just having a look at some exhaust systems on Ebay and found this place local to me. I would probably go for this set up on my Astra Sri. What do you think notsure.gif .

I think you could do a hell of a lot better. Its going to be noisey and annoying, not perticulaly good quality and no bigger bore or better flowing than the original. I know thats sounds harsh but its true. For similar money you could get a nice 60mm system from blueflame or somebody.

True, it's just he was around the corner from me and had a fitting service for £25 lol. I would probably go for the Remus centre pipe and a back box like the one above as I like that style or maybe 6x4 oval back box

I had a custom one made by Blueflame for £350 all in and youll struggle to fault it. If your gonna stick to the remus and a backbox then have a look at the scorpion one on LMF, its a nice oval I think youll like.

I've got to be bluntly honest here, after having and experienced a Remus centre pipe I can honestly say that I hated it with a passion. It was fitted to a standard letterbox tailpipe and it was noisey and too raspy. I wouldn't recommend a Remus or any other straight thru' pipe to anyone. There is no performance increase only noise.

I totally disagree with the above comment. I have both the remus straight through pipe plus a Remus oval backbox. Definetly improved performance and not noisey atoll. Probably the best setup ive ever had.

I'm with Johnny, I've had a remus race pipe coupled with a Remus backbox on my coupe and it was just not good on a long journey. The noise would just fill the car and piss you off after a while. performance wise there was virtually no increase either, just sounded faster lol.
