Wheel stuck

Right, was going to paint my front calipers the other day but i cannot for the life of me get one of the front wheels off.. tried pulling, prizing, kicking, the lot! even soaked behind the wheel in wd40 for a good hour or so, still no luck.

im guessing the wheel is stuck to the disc somehow? cant think of any other way to get it off..

im assuming both fronts are the same i only tried to take off the drivers wheel, couldnt get it off so i gave up.

any ideas other than taking it to a garage? notsure.gif

The wheel were stuck solid on my Vectra a few years ago. You have to hit them from behind with a big mallet. Try to get someone to hold a piece of wood against the wheel/tyre so that you don't damage anything. They will come off eventually. Once off, clean up hubs with wire brush and they smear the faces of the hub and spigot with some Copper Eaze.

As Johnny same thing happened on my astra just keep wacking it with a mallet, Keep hitting it alternate corners too. It will come off eventually.

will go buy myself a mallet then and give that a try!
