TimSri My mate has just bought one on these with a few mods. My lord is it quick! Running at 170 bhp with 150,000 miles on the clock! showo.. . Feels a 'little' quicker than my 2.2 cryb.. (I wouldn't like to find out!)
Mark_Dj I have had a few of them now, great cars and quick :razz: . This was my fav one, very clean 8) Then I bought this phase 2 one. I hated it :lol:
Mark_Dj The phase two was not as quick as the earlier one, the first one looked better as it had the vents and door kit. The Phase 2 had the Eco Tech engine and the earlier one had the red top. Pluss the first one I had was very clean the Phase 2 was a bit more rusty in places. I had the phase 2 for one day lol, and I sold it the next. I got rid of the first Gsi to buy this....
Mark_Dj Yes they did not have them as standard, they also had different side skirts, door stips and a longer rear spoiler
TimSri Lovely cars you've had there Mark. My mate has problems with his air vents as rain water gets in onto the battery and starting coil.
Mark_Dj Cheers 🙂. I am sure they should have plastic covers under the vets to stop the water getting in. Mine had them on each vent 🙂
