questions regarding the 2008 2.4 inlet manifold group buy

please post any questions about the 2008 2.4 inlet manifold group buy in this thread cheers..

Not a question as such but i'll be speaking with Courtenay on Monday to get them ECU brackets, dipstick brackets and fixings.

In addition I'll get hold of some bolts to mount the ECU onto the plate with some Nylocs.

That only leaves servo hose tubing, servo 3 way vale and suppressors that people need I guess? Would save people a lot of money if the vacuum hose could be bought in one long length and chopped up...

Jon at courtenay is awaiting the delivery details from GM, once that is available the deposits will be taken cheers..

i hate to keep asking, but i never remember stuff..

what is the definitive list of things i need so i can cross them off.

What You Need:

2.4 Inlet Manifold
- Oil Breather Gasket
Fitting Kit
- ECU Bracket
- Dipstick Bracket
- Suppressor
Vaccum Hose
- Corsa Valve '564607'
EGR Cheater
- EGR Blanking Plate

What else is needed?

you might not need the servo one way valve (corsa valve), it depends what you have fitted already dunno..

Hey just joined the forum so sorry if this is a silly question:

So the 2.4 inlet group buy... will Courtney be sorting all the parts out if I buy in? And does it include fitting? What exactly is the group buy for?

Once fitted is a remap required to get everything singing on tune? Will this be included in the buy?

the group buy is closed, but you could take Bandeen's place if you want ?

the £125 is for the 2.4 inlet manifold and gasket only, it would cost almost £200 to import these parts yourself.

they hopefully will offer a fitting kit and will offer a fitting service at extra cost of course.

How can you id it??

I have already bought Munchers ECU and dipstick brackets.

So it's the EGR plate, servo hose, suppressor, and Corsa valve. That's all I need.

Will there be a comprehensive 'how to'?

you may have the correct servo valve already, some do some don't.

what is needed is the one for a large outlet pipe.

there are anumber of "how2's" in the inlet section under the sticky threads 🙂
