This was my first RR day, really enjoyed seeing some great cars that looked fantastic.good opertunity to bench mark my fairly standard Veccy, so I can see what differance it makes doing my planned mods for this year. the facilitys at courtneys are excellent along with the hospitality and friendlyness of every one in the club. great to put name to face look forward to doning the same next year. cheers..

Got to agree with the above. Very well run, organised and quickly sorted!! I've been to RR days before that end up a scrum and a bit of a farce. I haven't been to many meets/etc that have been as easy to spend a day talking rubbish with complete strangers (all in a good way) It was nice that there weren't some of the ego's I have experienced with other makes/owners in the past. Looking for to meeting up with you all again at some point.

I got in to some difficulties coming down and got delayed loads, when I got there everyone had gone.

That's great news. That bloke is a star! You were a topic of conversation whilst we were driving home because we were wondering how far that you had come and then finding us all gone home. Good to hear that it wasn't a wasted journey mate.

well worth the drive for me although i have sworn never to return to norfolk with my navman!!
it said 190miles when i set off but by the time i had returned home i had done 450 miles! :shock:

Sarah and I had a smashing day and it was great to meet you all in person. You were all very freindly and welcoming which always makes for a great day. We should do a run what you brung day at the pod next as a club, that would be bloody good fun too.

The biggest surprise of the day for me was Mats car. Jesus mate, this is no exaduratiuon and i'm not bigging you up, but I could barley keep up with your 1.6 on the way to courtenays in the morning, I was gutted :oops: Thanks again for organising the day.

He is! I offered to pay him more , but he said no way. When i was like 20-30 mins away and i got word that you had gone, I seriously considered turning around there and then. So glad i didnt.
Imagine the feeling of horror after coming all that way for nothing puke.. What made it worse was the amount of speedcamera signs everywhere I just want to floor it to make up time but couldn't :evil:

Great day Matt! thumbup Me,Danielle & Daryn had a great time it was our first time on the rollers. 😃
And the team @ Courtenays made it that much better with the food & drinks laid on! 8)
Really good atmosphere was great meeting the members I had met before again and putting names to faces 🙂 all in all it was a BRILLIANT day and well worth the 18 hour round trip... 😃
Really looking forward to PV 2008 now! 8)

looking at my sheet 158.6bhp at 6007rpm / 153lbft at 4657rpm

Have something weird going on with my rev limit though, it's supposed to be lifted to 6800rpm (stg1 TMS) but was bouncing off at 6300 on the rollers (verified by the Tech2), yet back home on the road it seemed like 6800 again unless I'm going bananas.

Think I am sure why I got a dip in my torque figures I had done the FPR mod on the 2.4 inlet and was gonna put it back on to see if it did make a difference and compared to Daz my torque was down but we had nearly exact same on bhp and both Jon and Mark said they thought I was losing it due to the injectors being a bit clogged so really this would explain why I lost a few pound of torque bummer wish I had remembered the pipe I'll find out soon enough anyway gonna put her back on the rollers soon so hopefully I'll get the torque up??? 🙁
