I checked my oil levels yesterday and it had too much in. I have only had the car a few days, so after I noticed a little smoke coming from the rear of the car tonight, I decided to drain some oil off. It was over the max mark on the stick, so I was not happy with that. I came out from shopping tonight and started the car up, I looked out the rear window as I fired it up and noticed a little puff of smoke :? . Would it have caused any damage? I have not checked my oil since I drained some off as it's dark now. I will check it when the engine is cold so I get a good reading.
