hi guys.

i own an astra coupe 2.2, mainly drive to and from work mostly stop start driving.

ive been driving like a fairy today and managed to see an average consumption of 29-33mpg.

my usual driving (50/50) both like a fairy and with my foor down on the pedal i usualy see only 24mpg.

what figures are you guys seeing?

Same here chaps. 24 round town and 38/40 on a run at around 65mph.

If i'm really giving it beans i'm lucky to average 16mpg. pmsl..

Same here mid 20's around town and on a run i will be lucky to see mid 30's.

I seem to average around 28-29, gets better on a longer run though, but really drops around town.

I'v noticed since fitting the 2.4 manifold MPG goes down quicker around town but also goes up faster on a good run.
EG. a few laps round town gets it down to 24 ish then a visit to norwich (25 miles) back up to 30 - 31 mpg Without the manifold would be lucky to get it to 28 in that kind of distance??

28-30 round town driving sensibly(ish). 35+ on the motorway keeping it at 80ish. Best ive had was 44 on a trip to London doing 50-60 all the way

Mines doing 18mpg very poorly at the moment see my other post if anyone has any ideas gratefully recieved.
