hi folks i need a little help ive got a vec sri 150 and the em light has come on took it to the garage to get it checked and they told me that the car was running a bit lean and that it might be either the cat which is 4 months old or the first lambda so i changed the lambda and it was running fine for a couple of days until tonight when the light came on again.before i changed the lambda i took it for an emissions test which it failed on co2 levels.could it be the cat?any help would be much appretiated cheers in advance kirky

Hello Kirky,

I've got the same car with the same problem, what's your fault code - I have P0420. Been told I need to replace both 02 sensors as they should be changed as a pair. Also when I had the fault diagnosed I also has it reset, it took 2 days to return, had it reset again and took 9 days to come back on. Gonna change the sensors within the next week or so.

could either be the lambda or the cat, need the eml code

cheers guys changed the cat so far so good ill get more info if the light comes back on
