Mark_Dj The last car I had was an Astra Mk4 Diesel and the range the remote would work was great. Now the car I have just got is a little poor for range. I was out shopping today and it never opened up the car til I was standing at the rear of the car. My last car would have opened up about 4 to 5 cars away no problem. Why is it different? dunno.. . dodger I have the same with my Astra, the unlocking or locking from the back of the car is not too good either, I have tried changing batteries which help a bit but not significant enough.
Sjdickso Bounce the signal from your head, to extend it's range it's meant to work but i have never tried it lol.
vocky picture this...... late at night car park full of identical hire cars with almost identical reg numbers me pointing the key at each row until a car flashed back :lol:
sdbutler10 i find this problem with my astra at the back of the car does not open or shut it but move ot the side its ok and i have a brand new battery its strange
SriSte My vectra can do that sometimes. Holding the key vertically and not pointing at the car helps. I dont unlock my car unless im stood next to it anyway :p
