Just found some discs and calipers

Just found some Astra discs and calipers in my spare room :lol: . They look different from my standard ones notsure.gif , is it worth changing them over? I think they look bigger 😛 . The ones on my car now are bosh

If I remember right these came off an 03 Astra Coupe 1.8 notsure.gif

They should be the same size as your existing brakes if they came of a 1.8 coupe. All the 1.8s and 2.2s (coupes and hatches) had 280mm front discs, the turbos had 308mm

I would assume the calipers would be the same. Watch out tho as inthe lower picture there is a retaining spring mising from the caliper. There should be a long spring that connects the two small holes onthe face of the caliper, this spring then helps to retain the pads.

I think you should have a good look at the two side by side with your wheel off to see if they are the same.

I think they are different calipers as the brake pads look different from the ones I bought the other month what.. . These may be the Lucas ones

those calipers look the same as mine on the veccy.

They probably are, I think Vauxhall just use the same through the range
