Mark_Dj My water pipes at home have froze again :? . This time they are leaking and my neighbours water is off also :? . I have just phoned the people up who deal with it and they said it's not an emergency :evil: This is how cold it is today...
Mark_Dj I have been on the phone about my pipes and they have told me to switch off my electric and water. I will freeze for sure lol. This was over half an hour ago now. Still no sign of anyone
Mark_Dj Still no sign of anyone. As far as they know I have no water and no electric on. I have my electric on as I stopped the water by turning it off at the mains, so I know the electric was fine. I am cold though lol
Matt It's bloody freezing again today. I had to have the central heating on all day yesterday, and thats the first time I've had to do that.
Mark_Dj I tried leaving mine on over night but it never worked to keep the ice off my pipes. The lad is here now fixing my split pipe thats in the cuboard outside. He has jsut fixed that and one in my bathroom has just burst. He is away getting more pipes and some lagging..
jayp1983 unlucky mate, i take it you hadnt got round to lagging your mains water then. did it cause much damage or were you lucky??
Mark_Dj Two split pipes in the end. The one in my bathroom was the warm water pipe that had split. The lagging has all been done now with pretty good thick stuff 🙂. I forgot all about doing it once it was sorted last time lol. I was lucky damaged wise, I just turned off the stop cock :razz:
furn on my way to work this morning my car was showing -7 thats the lowest i have seen for a long time.
Sjdickso WTF is going off one day -7 the next day 6c and raining! Three / four days ago we where painting in my back garden. Hope it's all sorted for you Mark.
