cuts out when low on fuel

ive got an astra g with a z22se, when it is running you get a gurgling sound from the fuel tank(new fuel pump fitted still the same), the less fuel you have in the more it cuts out under acceleration.
this is really doing my head in as i have to keep it with over half a tank, does anyone have any ideas

this must have baffled most people as i didn't get a reply

i fixed this problem last night by replacing both rubber fuel hoses inside the tank, now drives spot on

not that i could see, dont know why it is sorted really but dont care as long as it is

Did you use the original type of clips or new jubilee type ones. As the original ones have been known to come un-clipped.

i used the originals, they seemed ok when i put them on

Not everyone ensures that the clips are properly engaged.
