Z22SE Fast Road Cam Shafts Costs & Results

Can anyone tell me where i can pick up a set of performance Camshafts, (whatever the cheapest ones are) and for roughly how much?

Can anyone also tell me what performance results i would get by fitting these?

piper regrinds they were £235 but poeple have been saying prices have gone up so ul have to check and piper claim 10bhp

just gone on to the site and it says £204.00 + £12 postage so if that goes thgrough bargain dunno..

What are the Kent cams like does anyone know just these are what my mechanic wants to put on mine but I'm not sure which way to go just wandering if anyone has ran Kent before???

kent cams DONT do z22se cams only x22xe cams......

i swear i saw them on their price list for our engine ?

price was +£600 for the cams, or +£400 if you supply your own to regrind....

i'll try find the list im on about so you can have a l00k 🙂

Quite pricy but ive heard Kent are better than the competition so im gonna save up some money and get a 2nd hand set reground 🙂

errr... isn't the European version of the 2.2 litre 16 valve ECOTEC engine the Z22SE ??????????????

just spoke to them, they said they do them for the Earlier 2.2 Ecotec which is belt driven, not our new 2.2 ecotec directs which are chain driven...

they say our engine is 'too complicated' for them to make/reprofile cams for ! hahaahaa !

tis what ive heard from my friends who use Kent, but I cant say for myself as ive only ever used standard cams....

defo wanna get some at some point tho showo..

kent are good in ford engines but does what application you want them used in with vaux most people go fo shrink or piper some times dbilas but i read some where the dbilas ones are only 257 deg so..... dunno..

but the price on that site for the piper ones are regrinds still a bargain imo
