gaps ebc std pads £28, green £59 ebc std discs £68, performance discs £118 So if I spend £177 as opposed to £96 is it worth it? Or do I go for std discs with green pads maybe? Cheers Gaps.
Sjdickso I have always found Vauxhall OEM pads to be best. Was not a Fan of EBC pads at all. I would just go for the 308mm upgrade from LMF one of the best upgrades i did.
gaps Hi Sj LMF reccomend 17" wheels for the 308 upgrade kit, I have 17"'s on the car presently but the OE wheels that I will fit back on the car when I sell it are only 16"'s so I think i'll stay on the original size rotors. Ta G.
Matt I've also heard good things about Black Diamond. £99 from LMF http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/prod ... 523&page=1 I'll be going for a set when I next change my discs
JohnnyN I've got Black Diamond and they are really good. I've had 2 sets of EBC discs on a previous car and they are shite! The Green Stuff Pads are useless too under hard braking. I have a set of Green pads on the Vectra at the moment but that's because they came with the Big Brake Upgrade. Once they're worn out i'll be getting Mintex or Pagid pads.
RICK my brakes are being changed in a week or so to black diamond discs/pads from lmf. will be doing the upgrade to 308 when i get some bigger wheels but i think they'll do for now, as the OEM ones are pretty much fine for my driving. just wear down a little quick!
Jamee The oem pads are fine, just soo much brake dust, i'm going for black diamond 308mm combi discs with predator pads.
