Hiya guys, i know this isnt a z22se engine related question but any help would be much appreciated
Basically its my dads 2.2 omega 51 plate
The amber engine warning lights popped up the other day and has started missfiring on start up with a bit of hesitation on acceleration
Has anyone else come across this problem before. Believe its a Y22XE engine
What do people reckon, i think ignition pack??
He took it to vaux and they said they would clean out the throttle body failing this it would require a new ecu, the throttle body was cleaned out and we cleaned out all the breather hoses too. I was a bit dubious about this diagnosis seems a bit extreme to replace the ecu
