Off to Sweden!!

Hi all, I'm off the Sweden next week till October and I'm wondering what to do with the car, should i disconnect the battery, get a small service be for I go, that kind of thing. Anyone got any ideas on how to keep the car in good order while I'm away? cryb..

Wow thats a long time to be without the car. Is there no-one you can trust to leave the keys with to keep an eye on it, once a fourtnight, maybe - turn her over, shortish drive to keep the brakes from binding, keeping the tyres fromweight on one spot`. etc.

Or...... get some snow chains and take it with you 😃

I wish i could take it with me but no can do. I will have to find someone to keep an eye on it and like you said turn her over and keep her sweet. I am gonna miss driving her and i never even got to try out my new sports cat that i just got.Its still in the box. feck.gif I might just get it fitted before i go just to see the diff and have something to look forward to for when i come back and of course the girlfriend as well ! :lol:

Its all Business!! She doesnt drive and i wouldnt leave my car near her house. It would be safer at mine.
I'll have to get a mate to look after it but i'd be afraid they would do something to it. We are always playing jokes on each other.

Even a mate Knows not to mess with anothers car.
At work - being deployed all the time - keys are always in & out of mail slots. Last car I had to look after was my mates X-Type. Even cleaned it for him before his return.
Cant wait till hes next away, he`s got an Astra Sri Turbo - Courtenay VXR tuned.....Hmm Hmmmm

Im not sure - all bar the battery - what you should look out for when leaving your car over long periods of time apert from mentioned things in my first reply. Im sure others will add more suggestions.
