So did you get the TV working, if so was it analogue or digital?
What is the reception like, the better ones use twin tuners and twin aerials for cars but have heard they still suffer being on the move.

Just need the Alpine, Kenwood, etc tuner and decent aerial and away i go.

If its anything like the USB digi tuners for pc with external house beam aerial, i'll give it a miss. Same aerial with a PCI E Terratec twin digi tuner i can receive more channels than our LE40M Samsung which is rated as quite good.

yeh tv working but you dont get many channels and as you say no good on the move not sure if digi or not channels different in different area's

If you have only BBC1,2,ITV1,CH4&CH5 its analogue.
Any others its digital, what you need is a beam strapped to the car on a rotator homing in on the transmitter through every bend in the road. A dipole aerial is asking too much unless within a few miles of the transmitters.
Similar thing with DAB radio, except it drops in and out even at home plus takes about 15 secs once found the signal again to reactivate. Would be rather annoying on the move.
