Mark_Dj I am thinking about buying a second car just to run around with and to get me to work. I was thinking of the 2.2 Vauxhall diesel engine. Are they any good? This is the 2.2 Vauxhall diesel engine
l7jnd my wife runs an 03 plate 2.0 turbo diesel astra estate. It's a fantastic engine. Got real mid range torque and power. Great fun when people realise it's a diesel. Returns about 45 mpg on average too. The two litre ones are not common as most were 1.7's. No idea what the 2.2 diesel is like, but if it is anything like the 2.0 it should be good.
rossy I run a vectra 2.0 dti as you no Mark,i would recomend you get one good on fuel nice to drive and fast(for a diesel) rallygif
Matt the 2.2 diesel engine is a pretty good engine mate, my Dad had a signum with it in, nice smooth engine, also not as loud as you'd think for an oil burner
