After driving sedately for 70-80 miles after fitting the 2.4 manifold I gave the car some beans and I think the acceleration is poor not just up to 2500 but all the way to the red line. I have tried numerous ways of fitting the fpr vacuum pipe and the car still performs no better than before the 2.4 manifold infact I would say it was worse. The mods done on the car are as follows;
Ported throttle body
K&N panel filter.
De-restricted airbox.
Vectra c air intake pipe.
No pre-cat.
Remus race pipe.
Std irmscher sri backbox.
The car is an Astra G,
Has anyone else had poor results or is it only the vx220 that gains 20 bhp ???? dunno..
