Hi all been to look at a vectra today, i'm happy with everything its even had the cam chain done ! but one thing i'm a bit unsure about i checked the dipstick and there was the slighetest and i mean a really small smount of that white crap youd associate with a gone head gasket, the oil looked quiet fresh itself. also checked the filler cap and there wasnt any thing fresh but i wiped my finger across it and there was a bit dried on accross the top, (which could show that if there was a problem matey hadnt wiped it trying to clean it off) Also on a test drive it never seemed to get up to full temp (halfway).
Apart from that everything was fine, no smoking, water fine drives really nice. Can anyone let me know if this is worth buying or wether i'm gonna have problems. i always thought that a little bits ok but i cant really afford to make a wrong decision on it and i'm useless with engines.
