from fleabay a seller willing to ship to the UK its a little over $400... bargin if it does whats claimed.

My only beef is that it dosent appear to be able to advance the ignition, only retard it 🙁 Atleast it can fuel correctly for any mods.

Yes I know I hate "piggy backs" BUT its mainly come from the unichip rage who lock you out so you cant change the mapping yourself 🙁

Very interesting, opens up cheap centrifugal SC or turbo possiblities.

Think I'll have a quick toss off to work out wether to spunk the extra on the SMT -7 or settle on the SMT-6 as its gonna do a good job anyway.

the yanks put me onto it lol

the greddy thing looks kinda good, but ive been told the SMT stuff from power products WILL advance the ign and work with the GM stuff 🙂

I have done quite a bit of reading (mainly on the aem fic), but have now found that my local rr place (http://www.hypersr.com/index2.html), although they are a jap tuner, sell the greddy stuff and would probably be able to tune it in

I contact Perfect Power about their piggyback system and was told by the technical support that they cannot support our engine due to the crank trigger pattern.
Also sent email to AEM and Greedy about their respective units - No response.
Does anyone know if they would be incompatible for the same reason?
As mentioned, there is talk on US forums about both of these systems working and also talk of them not working.
Trying to get a definative answer or find first hand accounts of people successfully installing and using these products is a different story.
