Should start to settle down over the next week after its learning curve.
Got similar probs myself disconnections, barely useable speeds and drop outs. Its the BT line at least 5 1/2 mile long and only 2 mile as the crow flies, they wont put me on the E SIDE, the engineers terminology which is the shortest route. As new cables are laid it makes sense to use as little copper as poss, hence i want on one - arseholes.
Whats the minimum contract length and bandwidth? Thinking go with BT, get them to sort problems out and then go back to current provider and existing separate phone provider, no qualms on either for the service and price.
