Should I paint my wheels or not?

quite simple really, should i keep my 16's and spray them anthracite, or just get some different wheels?

I prefer silver wheels, but the anthracite do look good on the coupe dunno..

some sriT or gsiT or acT wheels would look even better

They're 18s mate, bigger than what i wanted but im going to have a trial fit next week.

Only prob is they all need refurbing, so could be a ongoing project for me to do in the garage.

still unsure as to whether i should spray mine.. would of thought it'd look quite good especially when slammed.

It's hard personally i would stay silver.

I very nearly did mine black but then i saw some black rims and thought they just looked dirty.

Those rims look fairly nice, They look a littlelike omega wheels, rubber is not going to be that cheap for 18" either, just something to consider.

Yep, I'm not a dark wheels fan either, they just look dirty.

18's look great, but the ride's not so good, the tyres are expensive, and it won't handle so well.
If you feel the need to but new rims, try 17's, and drop it on it's a*s 8)

I have to agree, the ones done darker on silver don't really go imo. I think it's quite difficult to find a compromise when changing colour on wheels. The only colour body colour I've seen work well with darker wheels is blue, as seen on the Arden GSI's, and Prestige Blue like Gaz and Ffoeg's

Yeah they're omega mv6 wheels. They have legal rubber all round, think i may buy them and refurb them myself, then flog them on. dunno..

Just can't decide at the mo, i don't think i'll bother spraying mine now, im just getting a bit bored of it looking so standard.. but money is tight at the moment so can't really afford to do anything costly. notsure.gif

They probably painted their wheels after getting sick of them being covered in brake dust 😛

my 2 cents: get new wheels... 17 inch is fine if u want to keep standard bumpers, 18inch is a must if u ever think bout getting a bodykit

No-one want to scuff their alloys but what about the upkeep if painting them. Can you get specialized paint, safe-ish from scuffs & chips (to a certain extent).
