yeah had the vxr turbo on in october 2007 The Phase 1 Kit includes Iridium Spark plugs and a K&N Panel Filter aswell as EDS Software.
But this power increase is only half the story.
With Phase 1 the throttle response is made more sensitive with power commencing early at just over
2000 rpm and staying strong to 7000 rpm with no flat spots.
Our software is written so that 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gear performance is regulated by the
by the ECU and different levels of boost can be achieved in each gear.
1st gear limit = 0.5 bar progressing to 5th with a 0.9 bar maximum boost setting.
This helps keep the gearbox stressed as little as possible and making quick 1st and 2nd gear shifts easier with very little wheel spin for a faster acceleration.
The anti skid control is also altered making it less intrusive in controlling the engine and keeping the driver more in control.
All this means the car is extremely fun to drive with very lively performance and lots of pulling power from low revs right to the top end... at 6,600 revs in 5th gear 160 mph can be achieved, while still giving a better fuel economy over the standard car.
