I always wondered whether being able to fool the ECU into running slightly richer would improve power on a modified car...

Am I right in think you can adjust the A/F with this, i.e. adjust the ecu to suit the injectors?

I bought it to monitor the a/f ratio's

Plus it's a prerequisite for a standalone ecu 😃

One question
Can you use the signal of a wideband to feed directly the stock ECU when there is also a 0-1v "narrowband "output ?

The LC-1 has 2 programmable outputs. First output is set to emulate a narrowband sensor, so you can connect that to your stock ecu. Second is default setup to be 0-5V for full range lambda values. Both output are fully programmable, so you can choose which ever values you want.

There is also the Zeitronix wideband system, I`ve mounted one on my car today, together with an Apexi SAFC-NEO to adjust AFR. The Zeitronix unit has an narrowband output to replace the original narrow-band, and here you can centre the A/F anywhere between 9.6 and 21.Read more on:

thats my other plan, use an Apexi safc to adjust certain points of the map.

Have just been out for a test ride, the Wideband logger and SAFC seem`s to function like they are supposed to. Was realy easy to setup and use, the worst thing was to route the cables were I wanted them.

Is the new SAFC-NEO model still limited to 16 points correction only ?

Yes its 16 point correction in pro mode and 8 point in amateur mode. The SAFC-2 only had 12 point correction, so its getting better 🙂
