Anyone had a P0132 before? I've had P0130 too

had these both interchangably the past 2 weeks.

I've replaced the lambdas but it still happens. Also tried replacing the fuel filter. What should I try next?

Symptoms are a great load of misfires sometimes, other time the engine is fine. When I run at constant rpm (like on a motorway), this is what seems to cause the problem. Pushing on the gas (accelerating) knocks it out of the misfire sequence.

I replaced the spark plugs.. absulutely no difference 🙁

Could it be the EGR cheater malfunctioning? As that's the only thing ive really changed on the car for months

it sounds like fuel related, as altering the engine speed cures the error, is the engine spluttering notsure.gif

fuel filter, dodgy injector or maybe the coil pack

of course remove the egr cheater and see what happens, you will just get an eml saying the egr isn't working, but no limp mode.

i read a thread on .org and it suggested the fuel cut off switch can be faulty (the person described the problem exactly a mine) so I'm going to try bridge the connection (bypass the switch) and see if it fixes it

it's been ok the past couple of days - I'm using some of that redex injector cleaner

I was doing some more reading, and it says that high voltage is actually a sign of a rich system, not a lean/fuel starved system.

don't forget to replace your fuel filter in a couple of weeks, all the cr*p ends up there and can block the filter dunno..

changed air filter, no diff.

I am starting to notice hesitation in 1st and 2nd, quite slow to accelerate, then all happend at once

cleaned tb too, absolutely filthy. My car uses oil regularly, could this be reason for build up? where else could it be building up too!

thats normally a sign of a stuck egr valve, I assume you have fitted the blanking plate dunno..

might be worth replacing the plugs

it's also possible you might have a broken wire on the upper lambda sensor engine loom or a bad connection on the ecu plug notsure.gif

car's at phoenix motorsport now and they have tried a 3rd coil pack brand new) and it was no difference. I was doing a little reading, as always, trying to figure out what's wrong and came across this:

dying to try this, but unfortunately they have the car and don't seem to think this part could have failed

As far as I know the lambda sensor measures the difference in oxygen outside/inside the exhaust. The bigger the difference, the higher the voltage. So if you are getting a high voltage error, that would imply there is very little oxygen in the exhaust gases, so that should indicate a system running very rich.

Can you confirm the engine is actually running rich? I mean, smell/sight of the exhaust gasses for example?

An fpr failure wouldn't result in this error I think. Unlike other engines, the z22se works with a constant fuel pressure. So if the engine would start runing rich, that would mean the fuel pressure had gone up more (in that case you might have found something people are looking for here to tune there engines 😃 ).

What was the last change (if anything) you made to the engine before this started?
