my misses wants a new car she has 5/6k max to spend on one.

now it must be a deisel and she would like a spory ie turbo diesel :razz:

Nope, that was my Mom's car. They are 100bhp as standard, it's the 1.7CDTI engine. With a re-map, you're looking at 130bhp, and a load more torque

I had a 1.7CDTi Astra van for work, and that was rapid as standard 😃

I can imagine a smaller, lighter shell, with a re-map, and without a couple hundred kgs of work crp in the back would go like sht through a Goose !!!!

MK 4 Golf Tdi 110 bhp. You can pick a decent one up for around 4 - 5 K. Far better car than that tin-box Corsa.
